Government Services

Meeting technology support for public bodies.

Quorum supports councils, county boards, committees, school boards, and special districts throughout North Carolina, with project engagements accepted nationwide. We broadcast your proceedings, operate your rooms, and keep your chamber systems serviced and documented.

Why Now

Hybrid meeting systems are reaching end of life, and many original installers are no longer available.

Most chamber and hybrid-meeting systems in North Carolina were installed between 2020 and 2022. At four to six years of service, microphones, encoders, and control processors enter the range where failures become routine. Meanwhile, many of the firms that performed those installations have closed, been acquired, or carry backlogs measured in weeks.

When a microphone fails or a stream drops, it happens during an open session that forms part of the public record. Public bodies need a service provider that responds promptly and understands what is at stake in the room.

Corrective Maintenance

On-call repair for microphones, cameras, displays, streaming, and control systems, with priority response available on meeting nights.

Maintenance Contracts

Quarterly preventive visits, a contractual priority-response service level, and preferred rates, with your chamber tested and certified ready before every meeting cycle.

Meeting-Day Support

A qualified operator on-site managing audio, cameras, and the broadcast for council meetings, public hearings, budget sessions, and special proceedings.

Remote Meeting Support

On-call support by phone and screen share with your clerk or IT staff for the duration of a proceeding, available anywhere in the country.

Voting-System Service

Inspection and service of legislative chamber voting systems, including International Roll Call installations, drawn from direct experience at the North Carolina General Assembly.

A council meeting happens once, and the systems that carry it have to work the first time.
